Install on your TV
Takes about two minutes. To update later, do step 3 again — it always gets the newest version.

Get the Downloader app
On your TV's home screen, search for Downloader — the orange icon, by AFTVnews — and install it. It's free.

Allow it to install apps
Google TV / Android TV: Settings → Apps → Security & restrictions → Unknown sources → turn on Downloader.
Fire TV: Settings → My Fire TV → Developer options → Install unknown apps → turn on Downloader.
The exact names differ a little between TV brands. Downloader also offers to take you there the first time you install something.

Type the address
Open Downloader, select the address box and type:
yourvjapp.com/tv
Press Go. The download starts on its own.

Install and open
When it finishes, choose Install. If Play Protect offers to scan the app, choose Scan, then Install. Then Open.
When Downloader offers to delete the downloaded file, say yes — the app is already installed and you get the space back.
If your TV shows a warning
TVs warn about any app that isn't from their own store, including ours. If you see "Blocked by Play Protect" or "Unsafe app", choose More details → Install anyway.
Only do this for apps from sources you trust. Your VJ apps are only ever published here.
Your TV has a web browser?
Then you don't need Downloader — just open yourvjapp.com/tv in the browser.
“App not installed”?
An older copy is probably still on the TV — sometimes in another profile. Here's how to fix it.
